Toyota Fortuner is a mid-size SUV body on frame. The Fortuner is built on the Hilux pickup truck platform (Toyota IMV platform). this generation is a “Second generation” which starting in 2015 to present.
this Fortuner is a facelift model which features a new front-end and rear bumper design, a new headlights and tail lights, new wheels design and new instrument cluster. this Legender variant is a sporty version of regular fortuner, the key different are : front-end and rear bumper design, a new headlights with LED Sequential turn signal lights (front-rear), 20″ wheels and gloss black on a top. this particular car is a top of the line 2.8 Legender 4X4.
Both the Fortuner and Hilux share the transmission and engine together with two diesel engines (1GD-FTV 2.8Litre and 2GD-FTV 2.4Litre). The 2.7-litre and 4.0-litre petrol engines were available with Dual VVT-i. The second generation Fortuner features a part-time 4WD system instead of the full-time 4WD system used in the previous generation. For a facelift variants with 2.8-litre engine, it has been tuned up from 177 PS in pre-facelift model to 204 PS and torque is increse from 450 Nm to 500 Nm. This particular car is a top of the line 2.8Litre Diesel 4WD, so it come with 204 PS and 500 N-m torque mated to 6-speed automatic transmission
